How to unlock 120fps and 144fps in Call of Duty Mobile (codm)

Call of duty mobile has been very successful in the mobile gaming industry. Millions of players all over the world are constantly playing it every day.  If you are one of them, chances are you are also one of the players who compete in rank modes. Competing in rank modes in Call of the duty mobile is not as easy as it may sound as it would require one to have a very responsive phone with a low sampling touch rate and higher framerate capabilities in order to compete in fast-paced rank modes. The game does support ultra framerate for multiplayer mode but it is only limited to 90fps.

Now, you might wonder how 120fps or 144fps can be unlocked in this game. Just like the screenshot you can see right below.

The steps are so easy, really, but what makes it challenging is that it requires your android phone to be rooted and of course, your phone has to support 120 or 144hz refresh rate.

Rooting comes with a different process for each device, If you have not rooted your phone yet and you are interested in getting 120/144fps in COD mobile, I suggest you go to xda developers website and find the right steps in rooting your phone.

HOW TO UNLOCK THE FRAMERATE CAP.

Assuming you already had your phone rooted, in order to do this, you will have to download an app called GLtools. The app is not available on Playstore as google does not want apps that had something to with rooting on their store. You can find and download the app from GLTools official website.

Now, if you are ready to proceed with the steps, follow the instructions below.
1. Install GLTools from the link above and launch it, also grant it root permission
2. Once you are on the home page of the app, you will see a plus sign (+) at the upper part of the app.
3. Click on the plus icon and it will ask you to select a game.
4. Go ahead and find Call of duty mobile on the list and select or tap on it.
5. You will see tabs at the top of the app's interface, one of the tabs says "Game Engine" go ahead and tap on it.
6. Tap Engine FPS limiter.
7. Then type in your desired FPS whether it'd be 120 or 144fps.
8. go back to the app's home interface, and tap call of duty.

There you go! the game should now be running at your desired fps assuming your phone is able to handle it.

I also have a detailed video tutorial for it. it also applies to some other unity and unreal engine 4 games. check the video below.
