Distant Planet
This game was recently announced, so there isn't much information about it yet, including whether or when they plan to launch it globally, if at all.
Distant Planet is described as a space sandbox exploration game where players, as members of the "Far Star" special forces, must survive on an alien world after the collapse of civilization due to an extraterrestrial energy revolution. The game focuses on sandbox construction, resource gathering, and exploration.
Players can unlock technologies, craft weapons, tame creatures, and build their own homes. The game looks really good in my opinion however, we don't know if the would actually be good when it launches.
Soul Land: New World
Soul Land: New World is described as an officially licensed open-world MMORPG based on the popular Soul Land IP. Players can explore a vast 1:1 scale map of the Soul Land Continent, encountering iconic characters like the Seven Monsters of Shrek and unlocking dual martial souls, soul rings, and soul skills.
The game offers diverse experiences, including large-scale PVP battles with up to 400 players, treasure hunts, and beast cultivation. Players can engage in social activities, customize their characters with unique outfits, and participate in the SEA-exclusive Soul Master Tournament to reach the pinnacle of power.
the developers haven't announced the release date yet but they are already running pre registration campaigns they also have an active facebook page for more up to date information
Rohan 2
This is the official sequel to the classic MMORPG Rohan which was released in 2005, bringing back the beloved features and gameplay with modern enhancements. The game boasts high-quality graphics and vibrant effects, offering a visually immersive world. Players can choose from a variety of races and classes, each with unique traits and stories, reminiscent of the original.
Rohan 2 features a robust guild system for cooperative gameplay, extensive PVP modes from individual duels to large-scale wars, and an in-game economy that allows for infinite character growth and free item trading.
It combines nostalgia with new possibilities for exploration and combat. The game is set to launch in South Korea region later in September and the pre registration for it is already underway.
Dragon Hunter
Dragon Hunter is an MMORPG set in a fairytale world where gods are on the brink of a final battle. Players embark on an adventure to uncover hidden secrets, customize characters in a cute, fairytale art style, and engage in strategic combat with up to three fairies.
The game features an open world, housing and farming systems where players can rebuild a village and earn rewards. The game recently held it's closed beta test and the pre registration is now open. there's no information for global release though.
Miraibo GO
Miraibo GO is a mobile open-world survival game where players tame and battle hundreds of monsters. Build a monster-powered base by assigning them tasks like farming and production. Explore the world, defeat bosses, and capture monsters to strengthen your team.
Play with friends in co-op mode, but be wary—alliances can shift as players compete for resources. With crafting, combat, and monster collection, Miraibo GO offers an exciting adventure for monster enthusiasts.
Mobile developer and publisher Dreamcube has confirmed that pre-registrations are now open but there's no information about the release date yet
The realms
this is a game set in an infinite world of Eastern fantasy and mystery, choosing identities as mortals struggling in a chaotic purgatory, Yaospirits seizing souls in the eerie market of Chiluo, or demons practicing evil to pursue immortality.
The trailer is quite interesting as it seems to feature parkour, flying mounts and some awesome boss fights. The game's pre registration is open but no news about when the global or even the Chinese launch will be yet.
Robo Kingdom
Robo Kingdom is the sequel to the popular Lock Kingdom series, developed by Tencent Rubik's Cube Studio Group. In this magical world where elves live, players start as newcomers who bond with elves and uncover the world's mysteries. The game focuses on capturing and training elves, using lineup construction and turn-based strategies to embark on adventures.
This game seems to be another one of those pokemon style open world game. It looks beautiful to be honest and has that genshin impact looking design when it comes to it's environment. there's no info about the global launch tho
Dragon Sword
After about a year of silence on the game, South Korean developer Hound 13 has unveiled a new trailer for one of their latest projects, an action RPG titled Dragon Sword, previously known as Project D. This anime-style game is set in a high fantasy world, evoking a vibe similar to Genshin Impact.
There's no news on its release date yet, but this is certainly a game worth looking forward to. With stunning visuals and impressive combat, it could easily become your next favorite game.
Persona 5: The Phantom X
Persona 5: The Phantom X is a new mobile and PC spin-off of the very popular Persona 5. The game has recently released in China, with no news of an international release yet.
The story is pretty much Persona 5. But with totally different characters, but also somehow connect to the og game.
Basically it is totally a different timeline/universe. This game is likely to release globally in early 2025, as there is high interest in this game. I'm actually personally looking forward to playing it once it has English version
Jade Dynasty 2
Jade Dynasty 2 is a next-generation MMORPG developed by Perfect World using Unreal Engine 4, offering stunning AAA-level graphics. Set in a fantasy world of mountains and seas, the game follows young immortal cultivators as they embark on adventures in a realm where mystical arts and advanced mechanisms coexist.
This looks very promising but just like it's predecessors, we could expect this game to be quite a p2w one it looks good though is atleast worth trying out when it comes out.
Dark and Darker Mobile
Dark and Darker Mobile is an extraction RPG by KRAFTON set in medieval dungeons, blending survival mechanics, battle royale dynamics, and RPG elements. Players choose from six unique classes, including Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue, Ranger, Cleric, and Wizard, each offering distinct combat experiences. Adventurers battle creatures and other players in PvPvE combat to collect loot while evading the tightening grip of the Dark Swarm. think of it as PUBG but in a medieval setting.
It looks really good! I was able to play a little in its previous beta test, and I really loved it. Also, the global launch of Dark and Darker Mobile is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024, so we won’t have to wait long before we can try the game.
Naraka: Bladepoint Mobile
NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Mobile is a 60-player action battle royale featuring fast-paced combat, parkour mechanics, and a grappling hook for high mobility. Players can choose from a wide array of melee and ranged weapons, along with a roster of unique characters with special abilities.
One standout feature is the ability to transform into a powerful Vajra Warrior to dominate enemies. Combining intense action with strategic gameplay, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Mobile offers a dynamic battle royale experience.
There's currently no news about the global launch but it just had it's close beta test in china recently so it might take some time before we could get our hands on the game.
Raven 2
Raven 2 is a highly anticipated MMORPG sequel with a dark fantasy world and stunning Unreal Engine graphics. It's a MMO where Players can enjoy large-scale battles, immersive storytelling, and powerful weapons like the Heaven Stone to battle against dark forces.
The game has just recently launched in South Korea and there's currently no news for the global one yet. chances are we'll be able to play this in English probably around half way through 2025.
Duet Night abys
Duet Night Abyss is a fantasy adventure RPG with a high degree of freedom developed by Hero Games' Pan Studio. The game features "multiple weapon loadouts & 3D combat" at its core, and tells the story of "Demons" from dual perspectives.
The game has it's first beta test back in march and it received a lot of good feedback. Devs have not released any news since then so we don't any idea on when the global release would be but looking at the development progress during the beta test, the game is likely to come out in the 2nd or 3rd quarter of 2025.
Fate Trigger: The Novita
Fate Trigger: The Novita is a 3D Anime-style, hero-based tactical shooter powered by Unreal Engine 5. The game aims to mix tactical combat with the flashy animations you know and love from many anime games.
Developers also promised not include p2w elements in the game as what this site called gamerant gathered from thei interview with the developers. It's a very interesting. there's no release date yet as of the time of making this video.
Tribe Nine
TRIBE NINE is an Extreme Action RPG where groups of teens will endure multiple losses and devise strategies to overcome formidable foes.
The game is set in a futuristic city, Neo-Tokyo, where the young are hopeless towards the city's society. In order to find their place in this city of despair, they unite together and form different tribes to fight for themselves.
Just like most of the games mentioned in the video so far, we don't have news about the release date of this game yet, i'm pretty sure it's gonna take quite some time though as the game was just recently announced.
Azur Promilia
Azur Promilia is a Fantasy World RPG with Creature Companionship, you know, like pal world. judging from the gameplay trailer, it's kind of a mix of palword and genshin. the skills, graphics, and the environment just looks so cool to me.
I'm quite excited to get my hands on this game. the game is rumored to come out in early 2025.
Kaiju No. 8: THE GAME
You know, 2024 has been a great year for Kaiju No.8 fans. I mean, the manga series received an anime adaptation at the beginning of April and now, there’s news of a Kaiju No.8 video game, a project by Akatsuki Games in association with TOHO and Production I.G.
Akatsuki Games unveiled Kaiju No.8 The Game following the release of Episode 10 of the original anime series. The first trailer for the game shows an apocalyptic world where the Anti-Kaiju Defense Force is struggling to contain the kaiju appearing from within the earth. we don't know when this game's gonna be ready for testing yet but it's probably in early 2025
Infinity Nikki
Infinity Nikki is the fifth installment in the beloved Nikki series, developed by Infold Games. Set in the whimsical world of Miraland, this cozy open-world game features platforming, puzzle-solving, and dress-up elements, all powered by the UE5 engine.
Players join Nikki and Momo on a magical adventure, exploring diverse nations, collecting stylish outfits with unique abilities, and solving creative puzzles.
The game combines vibrant environments with relaxing activities like fishing and bug catching, offering endless opportunities for exploration and customization. this is a great one to look forward to if you are into open world cozy games.
Axis of Eternity
Axis of Eternity is described as a high-freedom open-world action game set in a fantasy theme. It offers boundless exploration, rich storytelling, and interactive role-play, allowing players to create unique endings through their choices and creativity.
The game features dynamic character interactions and cooperative play, where you and your friends can fight together and build a new order in a world full of surprises and adventures. to me, the game looks like a combination of wuthering waves and genshin impact and I'm all for it. what do you guys think?
