The art style feels inconsistent, with one style in the city hub, another during missions, and a different one in cutscenes and loading screens. This lack of cohesion can make the game feel somewhat hollow.

The game follows a familiar formula of daily login rewards and events, a common setup in modern mobile games. While it introduces a fresh take on the Metal Slug franchise, it may not align with what longtime fans were hoping for.
