MMORPGs are one of the most popular video game genres of all time and for good reason. They offer the open world exploration, character building, and strategic combat of an RPG but entirely online with hundreds, if not thousands, of players questing away concurrently.

The genre has a huge selection of options on mobile like ports of classics, cross-platform MMORPGs, and online survival games. But the thing is not only do most of them just come and go, they're also kinda challenging to look for.

So in this video, we've listed the 15 best MMORPGs for Android and iOS to play in 2025. let's get right to it.

Watch the full video review HERE for links

Soul Land: New World

Soul Land: New World is the first open-world MMORPG that's based on the beloved Soul Land IP, bringing its rich lore and iconic characters to life. The game immerses players in a sprawling 1:1 recreation of the Soul Land Continent, where you can freely explore, encounter rare soul beasts, and uncover hidden treasures.

Players can wield dual martial souls, customize soul rings and skills, and engage in diverse PvP battles, from intense 5v5 duels to massive 400-player guild wars. Beyond combat, the game offers deep social features, treasure hunting, exotic beast cultivation, and pretty decent character customization.

Earth:Revival

Earth: Revival - The Core is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi survival RPG set in a world overrun by alien invaders. Blending cutting-edge visuals and innovative gameplay, this open-world adventure offers players the freedom to explore, fight, and survive using unique tools like customizable exosuits.

With a focus on fairness and accessibility, players can enjoy a rich narrative shaped by collaborative storytelling, as well as features like building and socializing. Whether you prefer intense combat or creative survival strategies, Earth: Revival provides a futuristic sandbox full of challenges and discoveries.

Perfect World Accend

Perfect World: Ascend is an expansive, open-world MMORPG where you can explore a 3D fantasy realm with players worldwide on a global server. The game lets you choose from three races: Untamed, Humans, and Winged Elves, each with different classes.

The game features an almost boundless flying system. you can even fly so high you'll see the atmosphere. It’s an engaging MMO featuring a vast open world, stunning graphics, and plenty of activities to keep you entertained.

Once Human

Once Human is a multiplayer open-world survival game set in a post-apocalyptic world corrupted by Stardust. As a Transcendent resistant to its effects, you’ll scavenge for resources, fight off terrifying monsters, and team up with friends to build your base and reclaim humanity's future.

The game is already available on Steam, and its mobile version is set to release in April this year, which is why I decided to include it on the list.

Draconia Saga

Draconia Saga is a game that invites you to explore a mysterious futuristic metropolis through a portal to a parallel dimension. Choose from six classes, and experience thrilling new content like 12-player dungeons, intense squad PvP in Battlefront Clash, and the Chrono Festival full of treasures and challenges.

Capture and train pets with unique evolutions to aid in combat or peaceful tasks like farming and fishing, as you team up to conquer worlds and uncover surprises.

Silkroad Origin Mobile

Silkroad Origin Mobile is an MMO that brings the classic Silkroad Online to Mobile. You will Engage in epic Guild Wars, conquer territories, or enjoy PKing with other players just like in the original PC client. Silkroad Origin Mobile takes you on an immersive journey through the iconic trade route, where you will perform a number of different activities.

The game has earned praise from independent review panels, cementing its position as a formidable entry in the MMORPG genre. if you're into classic MMOs, you should check this one out

Raven 2

Raven 2 is the epic sequel to the hit MMORPG Raven, pushing boundaries with breathtaking Unreal Engine graphics and immersive storytelling. Set in a dark fantasy world where beauty and cruelty collide, players join a new era of heroes in large-scale battles that paint the battlefield blood-red.

the game delivers a AAA experience on mobile, combining visually stunning environments with thrilling combat and compelling stories. The game looks amazing, but it needs a pretty powerful device to run smoothly, which might be an issue for some people.

TeeTINY Online: SmartTowerLife

TeeTINY Online: SmartTowerLife is a charming indie MMORPG where players from around the globe come together to explore the mysterious Tower of Desires. Set in a small yet vast world, this game focuses on community-driven gameplay, encouraging cooperation and communication across borders.

With simple mechanics and subtle visuals, the game's definitely a refreshing change for those who are tired of intense, fast-paced action. You can build your own unique home, and team up to conquer dungeons and uncover the secrets of the tower. It's pretty good in my opinion.

Ancients Reborn

Ancients Reborn: MMO RPG
This one is a dynamic Open World MMORPG blending classic dungeon crawling with modern multiplayer elements. It's very similar to RuneScape but without the charm and player base.

The game is good, the graphics are nice and the details are quite lovely, and the gameplay is seamless. It's suitable for both active and passive gameplay as there's much to keep you busy. This game has been around for about half a decade now though so you can't really expect as much player base as newer MMOs but it's a refreshing game in my opinion.

Diablo Immortal

Diablo Immortal brings the classic Diablo experience to mobile, letting you dive into a dark, action-packed world where you can fight demons, raid dungeons, and team up with friends.

Now, some of you might still view this game the same as when came out where a lot of people were disappointed in it's p2w mechanics but according to players who have been playing the game since launch, it's actually not the case anymore. I mean the p2w is still there but it seems the game is now somewhat f2p friendly. You can watch this review by Gamezonegaming after watching this video if you're interested in hearing more. I'll link his video in the description. anyway, with a huge dedicated community and player base, I think this game is definitely one of the MMOs worth playing in 2025

Runescape

RuneScape might not be as popular as its Old School version, but it’s still a regularly updated MMO packed with content to dive into. In recent years, it’s shifted toward more active gameplay, cutting back on the grind that used to define it. This makes for a nice mix of grinding and action, and overall, it’s one of the most laid-back games on this list.

The game has changed a lot over the years—whether that’s a good or bad thing depends on your perspective. But if you’re after a casual MMO that’s easy on newcomers, RuneScape is definitely for you.

Albion Online

Albion Online is a free-to-play MMO with a vast open world that lets you forge your own path. The game is famous for it's unique "you are what you wear" system where your gear defines your abilities, not a fixed class.

You can explore five biomes, battle players in intense full-loot PvP, or stick to PvE with dungeons and expeditions. The in-game economy is player-driven, you can own land to farm, raise animals, and build. I think the only thing a lot of players complain about the gear is losing your gear when you get killed in PVP areas. which can be frustrating but if you don't mind that, this is a really good MMO for you in my opinion.

Adventure QUEST 3D

This one is basically one of those kind of quirky laid-back MMOs that's very engaging and funny at times. Now, You won't find large-scale PvP battles or massive quest lines here. Instead, you get a straightforward, relaxed MMO.

Also, the game runs buttery smooth on most devices as it was made with low-end phones in mind. Monetization isn't a big part of the game. Like all MMOs, there are options to pay for various classes and cosmetics, but there aren't any pay-to-win mechanics at least as far as I know. If you're looking for a fun, casual MMO or have never played an MMO, this is an ideal start.

Toram Online

Toram Online is a refreshingly open-world MMO that encourages exploration and customization. It doesn't limit you to classes or skill trees, and beautiful panoramic vistas are a reward in their own right. The graphics of Toram aren't groundbreaking, but the world is designed to bring out the best in them.

It utilizes an interesting melding of both a turn-based combat system and tab-target, creating an interesting hybrid combat system you don’t typically find in MMOs. This one has been around for a decade now and is the oldest MMO on the list but the game is still fairly active and has a solid community which makes it still worth playing.

Black Desert Mobile

Black Desert Mobile is one of the most popular MMORPGs currently available on mobile. It's a gorgeous game that - even 6 years after its release still one of the best if not the best looking Mobile MMOs and is still better than new MMOs on mobile with the best action combat. You’ll explore a vast world, uncover ancient mysteries, and create a character that’s uniquely yours. It features life skills like fishing, trading, and crafting while managing your own camp.

Now it's not perfect, of course, but with Pearl Abyss consistently rolling out updates and making progression more accessible, the game remains fresh and exciting. Whether you’re grinding for gear, life-skilling, or engaging in PvP, there’s always something to do. The upgraded pity system has made significant strides in reducing the frustration of RNG, making progression more player-friendly than ever.
